DCA is proud to announce that the Lady Lions Tennis team walked away with the first place prize at yesterday’s TAPPS 3A Regional Tennis Tournament! Congratulations to all!

The following finishes contributed to the overall team win…

• Kylie Gilbert, junior, took 1st in Ladies Singles
• Victoria Given, senior, and Clara Brisman, junior, walked away with 1st in Ladies Doubles
• Zoe Gattis and Libby Smith, both juniors, placed 5th in Ladies Doubles
• Trinity McCarty, senior, placed 7th in Ladies Singles

In addition, the men’s team snagged two wins.

• Kyle Simmins, Sophomore, and Mason Long, freshman, finished 3rd in Men’s Doubles
• Cole Myers, sophomore, placed 8th in Men’s Singles

We’ll get the chance to cheer for ALL of these winners at the State Tournament next month! Well done, Lions!
