“The vision of Denton Calvary Academy is to see our students, today and tomorrow, glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by improving the lives of others through a life long love of learning, discovery and service.”
Loving our Neighbors
Hours Served in 2017-18 by High School Students
Following the example of Christ, the mission of DCA is to help foster a life-long commitment to loving our neighbors expressed through service in and around our community. Though there is a community service requirement for high school students, the majority of our student body far exceeds the required minimum hours. Additionally, each class participates in 2 service projects per year.
Whenever possible, upcoming local opportunities will be included on this page:
The DBC Community Garden at Shiloh Field
- All of the harvest goes to support local ministries, to feed those in need.
- Help is needed with weeding, planting and harvesting.

In addition to any filled shoeboxes you can donate, DBC and OCC can use your time! Earn community service hours by helping in the collection center located next to the DCA campus.
