As we center our hearts on Jesus this Christmas season, we would like to take a moment and reflect on our theme from scripture this year, God is For Us, from Romans 8:31-39. During advent, we especially rejoice with the truths of verses 35-37, that despite troubles or darkness in this world, we are assured of God’s love for us and the conquering power of Christ’s presence within us. We pray for all our Denton Calvary families — may God bless you richly with the peace and presence of Jesus, both at Christmas and throughout the year.
