What a blessing it is to start each day with a chapel lesson! Each morning, elementary chapel will begin with the pledge to the US and Texas flags (Tuesdays) and the Christian flag (Thursdays). Students are given the privilege of participating as flag holders. Please refer to the “flag schedule” that went home in your child’s yellow folder last week. It starts with 5th grade and goes down to Kindergarten students, then back up until we run out of school days. We will begin Fall with days for 5th – 2nd grades, then will start the Spring schedule after Christmas, finishing up with all the grades.

It might be helpful to put your child’s date on your calendar so that you can be at Chapel by 8:05, ready to lead in the pledge; this is a big deal to the students! If your student is late or absent, another student will be asked to take the lead.

Finally, should you need another copy of the flag schedule, you can find it in the Elementary Resource Locker.
